What FORGE is

FORGE is a small group of young builders who commit to finishing real things, and hold each other to it. Entry is by proof of work, not by signing up. We’re small on purpose.

Build Your Way InGDG DevFest Pretoria 2026

We ran the career and entrepreneurship session at DevFest Pretoria: 110 minutes, a room of developers, and everyone building something real before they left.

“Feedback received from the community is that they enjoyed the FORGE Build session.”

What our builders do

  1. Weekly commitments.

Every member commits to one thing a week and shows it the next.

  2. Electives.

Deep tracks in Data Engineering, Cloud and System Integration.

  3. Community sessions.

We run hands-on sessions for other communities, like DevFest.
